This necklace has a pendant that is a Cephlopod (Orthoceras) fossil, brought back from the Sahara dessert, Morocco and is 350 million years old. The pendant is accented with vertebrae (fish), coral, bone,and hematite. This necklace is a very unique piece and I promise, the vertebrae do not have an odor, even after getting wet. I have used this material in a couple of other pieces and have not had any complaints. This piece would be great for both a man or a woman and is 18 inches in length. The fossil is about an inch long. The clasp and bale are both sterling silver.
